Narendra Modi's new protectionism looks more like Nehru, less like China

In Parliament last week, Prime Minister Modi lashed out at the Nehru-Gandhi family for impoverishing and fragmenting India through terrible policies. He sneered at the “old India” of the Congress party and promised a “New India”.
